About Krisp Guide
By Driss Lahbil · Independent · Not affiliated with Krisp Technologies Inc.
Krisp Guide is an independent resource for anyone who wants clearer audio on their calls. We test and explain voice tools, starting with Krisp, so you can decide what is worth your time and money without wading through marketing copy.
Who runs this site
Krisp Guide is written and maintained by Driss Lahbil, a software engineer. Like most people who build software, I spend a large part of my week on video calls, and I got tired of sounding like a wind tunnel and of losing decisions in messy notes. I started testing voice tools seriously, and Krisp Guide is where I write down what I learn so you do not have to repeat the research.
I care about two things here: getting the facts right, and being honest about what a tool does badly, not just what it does well.
How we work
- Test-first. I use the tools on real calls before recommending them, not just from spec sheets.
- Verified facts. Prices and features are checked against Krisp's own documentation and dated sources. I keep a fact ledger so numbers stay accurate.
- No drifting prices. I never quote a price that changes by region. I link to the source instead.
- Two-sided. I name what Krisp does poorly (shallower AI notes than dedicated tools, limited languages) as clearly as what it does well.
- Alternatives when they fit better. If another tool is the right pick for your case, I say so.
What this site covers
- Setting up Krisp on Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, Discord, and more.
- Whether Krisp is worth it, the free plan, and pricing.
- Honest comparisons with Otter, Fireflies, NVIDIA Broadcast, and other alternatives.
- How-to guides on noise cancellation, AI meeting notes, and transcription.
Our mission
To answer the real questions people have about Krisp, from an independent point of view, so you can make a confident decision in minutes instead of hours.
Who this is for
Remote and hybrid workers, streamers, call-center agents, students, and anyone who takes calls in a noisy space and wants to sound clear and keep good notes.
