Krisp on Google Meet
Google Meet has its own noise cancellation, but it is limited to certain plans and only cleans your outgoing audio. Krisp works on top of Meet, cleans noise in both directions, and does not depend on your Google Workspace tier. Setup takes a minute.
Step by step
- Install and open the Krisp app, set your real microphone and speaker inside it, and turn noise cancellation on.
- Join or start a Google Meet call.
- Click the three-dot menu, then Settings, then Audio.
- Set Microphone to Krisp Microphone and Speaker to Krisp Speaker.
- If Google Meet noise cancellation is available on your plan, you can leave it off, since Krisp is already doing the work.
Krisp now removes keyboard noise, fans, and background chatter from your Meet calls.
Set it up before your next Meet call
The free plan covers 60 minutes a day with no card, enough to test it live.
